We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Data and Analytics team and help turn business questions into practical data and insight solutions. You’ll work with stakeholders across Clear Business to understand what they need, shape clear requirements, and support solutions that improve decision-making and business performance.
As a key link between business stakeholders and agile delivery teams, you’ll help translate business needs into data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value, improve decision-making and support greater data literacy across the organisation. This is an opportunity to play an important role in shaping data products and driving positive business outcomes through effective analysis, collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
What We Want You To Do
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Clear Business to define data and insight requirements.
- Capture, analyse and challenge business needs to identify value-led solutions.
- Create and maintain a prioritised backlog of epics and user stories aligned to business objectives.
- Partner with agile delivery teams using Jira and related tools so requirements are clearly documented, understood and ready for delivery.
- Use SQL to analyse and profile data, investigate business problems, validate assumptions and support clear solution design.
- Assess business processes, data flows and lineage to identify opportunities to improve data and reporting capabilities.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies across data initiatives and change programmes.
- Support stakeholder engagement through testing, implementation and adoption of data solutions.
What Success In The Role Looks Like
- Deliver data and insight solutions that align with business priorities, improve decision-making and create measurable value for stakeholders across the organisation.
- Maintain a clear, prioritised backlog that balances stakeholder needs, business objectives and agile delivery priorities.
- Use strong business analysis, stakeholder management and SQL skills to understand business problems, shape practical solutions and support improvements in data quality.
- Enable delivery teams and stakeholders to work effectively together, resulting in successful adoption of data solutions and high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and become a valued partner in delivering data and insight solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
