The Opportunity

A fast-scaling clean-tech manufacturer has just closed a major funding round and is reshaping its commercial team to match. This is a rare seat at the table early: a newly created Business Analyst role inside a commercial function that's about to grow quickly, working directly alongside senior leadership on the numbers that shape where the business goes next.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Build the financial and energy modelling that underpins every major bid and proposal
  • Shape market research that directly informs commercial strategy and expansion decisions
  • Analyse pipeline and bid data to sharpen conversion rates across the commercial team
  • Support senior stakeholders in board-level reporting, with direct visibility on outcomes
  • Work closely with a growing bids and partnerships function during a genuine growth phase

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What Success Looks Like

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical instincts, comfortable turning numbers into a clear commercial story
  • Confident with CRM data and able to spot the discrepancy or trend others miss
  • Some grounding in energy, clean-tech or building services helps but isn't essential — potential and appetite to learn the sector matter more
  • Organised enough to run several work-streams and stakeholders at once
  • Genuinely curious about how a growing business runs commercially, not just analytically

What Is on Offer

  • Direct mentorship from a high-performing commercial leadership team
  • Real progression as the team scales — this is a role with room to grow into, not a fixed lane
  • Employee share options and a discretionary bonus scheme
  • Private health insurance, enhanced parental pay, and paid volunteering time
