Business Analyst
Location: Wembley, London (Hybrid Working) - 2 days on site
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Extension Opportunities: High likelihood of extension based on project requirements and performance
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with at least 6 months of commercial experience to join a high-profile organisation within the sports industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical projects, helping stakeholders identify requirements, improve processes, and deliver impactful technology and business change initiatives.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and solutions deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement workshops, interviews, and meetings.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain process maps, user stories, use cases, and business documentation.
- Support project teams in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and testing teams.
- Assist with requirements prioritisation and validation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and issue resolution.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decision-making.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Minimum 6 months' experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle and change delivery methodologies.
- Experience creating process flows, user stories, and business documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
- Previous experience within sports, entertainment, membership organisations, or large-scale customer-focused environments.
