As a Business Analyst within our Transformation Portfolio, you'll play a key role in shaping how we work by identifying opportunities for improvement, delivering meaningful change, and ensuring our technology and processes support our strategic ambitions. Working alongside Project Managers, Analysts and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll help drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and deliver lasting business value.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Transformation Manager, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, gather requirements and translate business needs into effective solutions. You'll analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and support the design and implementation of change initiatives that align with DWF's strategic objectives.

  • Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expectations are managed and progress is communicated effectively.
  • Support solution testing, end-user adoption and training activities.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including requirements, process maps and user guidance to support successful delivery and ongoing maintenance.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • Proven experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, including SWOT, MoSCoW and root cause analysis.
  • Experience mapping and analysing business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data to identify trends, insights and recommendations.
  • Understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience facilitating workshops and collaborative discussions.

Desirable

  • Understanding of the regulatory environments in which DWF operates.
  • Experience developing and embedding new ways of working within legal or professional services environments.
  • Experience supporting organisational change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Case Management or Practice Management systems.
  • Experience leading or supporting technology transformation projects or key project workstreams.
  • Relevant Business Analysis qualification or professional certification.
