Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)
Pay Rate: £28.85 Per Hour
Contract length: 6-Month Contract
Our client is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to join a leading global digital platform business. This is an exciting opportunity to support high-impact strategic initiatives, working with large datasets to generate actionable insights and influence business decision-making across international markets.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will help drive business performance through data-driven analysis, market insights, and strategic recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and support the development of scalable business strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful stories and commercial recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic and business performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to support business objectives.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Support the evaluation of new market opportunities, products, and business initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals.
- Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from business leaders.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations and business narratives.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience building dashboards and delivering business reporting.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and performance measurement methodologies.
- Ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience supporting business operations, strategy, or planning functions.
- Excellent storytelling and data visualisation skills.

Desired Experience
- Experience working in digital, technology, platform, media, e-commerce, or online environments.
- Exposure to market analysis, business strategy, or commercial planning.
- Experience supporting global or multi-regional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in the London office.
- Standard business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- English language proficiency required.
- SQL required.
