JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you able to communicate with a variety of different customers and do you enjoy identifying problems, presenting recommendations and learning new skills? If so, then you will be interested in joining the Strategy and Architecture team as a Business Analyst.

This is an exciting time to join the team as the successful Analyst will be involved in our upcoming projects, which include our Automation programme, projects that improve staff safety and cross-council initiatives.

A typical day in the life of a Business Analyst involves building and maintaining relationships with our stakeholders, identifying business needs and supporting business change through the use of technology.

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Use of own initiative to plan and organise a varied workload, working to short deadlines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify service improvements and maintain a customer-orientated approach
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, requirements gathering and SWOT analysis.

We are offering hybrid working arrangements, primarily working from home but with the opportunity to work with the team in our Lewes office. We also offer professional training, such as the BCS Diploma in Business Analysis and Prince2, as well as internal training & knowledge sharing opportunities.
