Contract Business Analyst

Up to £450 per day | Inside IR35 | Manchester or Leeds (2 days onsite per Month)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape and deliver user-centred digital services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Create and manage high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Support product delivery teams in an Agile environment
  • Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements
  • Contribute to service design and continuous improvement activities

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the public sector
  • Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
  • Extensive experience writing user stories and managing requirements
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Desirable

  • Experience working within the GDS framework
  • Previous involvement in Discovery and/or Alpha phases of digital projects
  • Experience delivering user-centred digital services

Contract Details

  • Rate: Up to £450 per day
  • IR35: Inside IR35 through umbrella
  • Location: Manchester or Leeds
  • Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week
