Role Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering LIMS solutions to clients. Serving as the link between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, facilitating workshops, and ensuring the system configuration meets customer needs and expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, solution designers, and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely, and tailored solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand and document business processes and functional needs
- Translate user requirements into clear functional specifications, ensuring alignment with the overall solution architecture
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to support smooth handover of requirements for system configuration and development
- Lead workshops with clients to gather insights and define detailed requirements
- Support data migration activities and master data setup in coordination with the client
- Lead or assist with user acceptance testing, including issue documentation and resolution management
- Coordinate with project managers to manage delivery timelines, scope, and client expectations
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients during the implementation and transition phases
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover to post-implementation support
- Gather and translate laboratory and business requirements into functional LIMS solutions
- Work closely with laboratory users, SMEs, IT, and stakeholders to understand current processes and identify improvements
- Analyse and document laboratory workflows, processes, data, and system requirements
- Support LabWare LIMS configuration, ensuring the system aligns with business and laboratory requirements

Your Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in a consulting or client-facing role
- 2–3 years of experience in business analysis and/or business process optimisation
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience with laboratory informatics systems (particularly LIMS) is highly desirable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed project team
- Fluency in English
- Ideally LabWare LIMS experience, other LIMS will be considered
