Business Analyst – GDS / Central Government
£425 day Inside IR35 | 6-month contract | Predominantly Remote | Urgent Start
We are urgently looking for experienced Business Analysts with strong Business Analysis experience within UK government digital environments, with hands-on experience of GDS principles and ways of working to join a major central government digital transformation programme.
This is a fast-moving requirement with interviews taking place immediately. Candidates must be immediately available or able to start within 1–2 weeks.

You will join an established multidisciplinary digital team, working closely with Product, User Research, Design, Delivery and Engineering across complex public-sector services.

What we're looking for
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within UK Central Government
- Hands-on experience working within GDS-aligned digital delivery
- Good understanding of Discovery, Alpha and Beta phases
- Strong Agile BA experience across requirements elicitation, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience working within multidisciplinary digital teams
- Confident running workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders
- Able to take ambiguous problems and turn them into clear, practical requirements and outcomes
- Experience supporting delivery through requirements refinement, UAT and implementation
