About The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst at Michael Page, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a major transformation initiative within a prominent UK regulatory body. Your primary focus will be on working closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. You will act as a bridge between business units and technology teams, ensuring that the solutions developed align with organizational objectives and deliver tangible value.   • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in delivering complex ERP implementation or transformation projects.
  • Strong ERP knowledge, ideally with experience in HR and Finance systems, or either domain specifically.
  • Exceptional requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and business process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience supporting project lifecycle activities such as testing, change management, and user adoption.
  • A methodical, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Ability to operate effectively within complex organizational environments, managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this Senior Business Analyst role include:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Assessing current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborating with technology teams to design, develop, and implement effective solutions that meet business needs.
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings to align project goals, clarify deliverables, and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Supporting the testing and validation phases to ensure system functionality aligns with specifications.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation covering all stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Monitoring project progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between business units and technical teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
