Business Analyst

Pay up to £44,447, plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work-life balance.

We have a number of exciting Business Analyst opportunities available across DWP Digital, spanning key areas including Debt, Health & Disability Services, Working Age Services and Hybrid Cloud.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering digital transformation that impacts millions of people across the UK.

Working within our multidisciplinary Agile teams, you'll help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring products and services deliver real value for users and the organisation.

You'll be involved right through the product delivery lifecycle, using a range of business analysis techniques to understand problems, identify opportunities, and define effective solutions.

You’ll work with stakeholders to support informed decision-making, improve business processes, and help deliver services that meet both user and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in shaping and delivering digital transformation

  • Use business analysis techniques to understand problems, identify opportunities, and define effective solutions

What You’ll Need

  • Significant experience delivering business analysis across the full project and change lifecycle
  • Proven ability to apply a broad range of business analysis techniques
  • Experience eliciting, defining, and managing business, user, and system requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using business modelling techniques to analyse processes, capabilities, and organisational needs

Location

You’ll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield.

Hybrid Working

We work a hybrid model – you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay

Pay for this role is from £44,447 to £46,547.

Pension

You’ll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth up to £12,876 per year.
