About Amber Labs

Amber Labs is a people-first technology consultancy delivering secure, scalable digital solutions across the UK public sector.

We work collaboratively with our clients and teams to tackle complex challenges and deliver meaningful digital transformation. Our culture is supportive, inclusive, and focused on giving people the opportunity to do great work and develop their careers.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our team, with a strong focus on business process analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

You'll work with stakeholders to understand and document existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help define future-state ways of working.

A key part of the role will be using Microsoft Visio or similar tools to create clear and accurate process maps that help both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand complex processes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Map and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes
  • Create clear process maps and visual artefacts using Visio
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements
  • Translate complex requirements into clear processes and documentation
  • Identify process gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Ensure processes are clearly understood and consistently documented

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
