About Amber Labs

Amber Labs is a people-first technology consultancy delivering complex digital transformation programmes across UK Central Government. Our teams bring together expertise across Design, Research, Product, Delivery and Technology, working collaboratively to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in business process analysis and process mapping to support complex transformation programmes.

The role will involve working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to capture, validate and refine end-to-end business processes, translating complex requirements into clear process maps and visual artefacts.

You will facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, helping to establish a shared understanding of current and future-state processes and ensuring these are accurately documented and communicated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture, validate and refine end-to-end business processes.
  • Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into clear, structured process maps and visual artefacts.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Use Microsoft Visio to create accurate and accessible process maps.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure processes are clearly understood and consistently documented.
  • Support the identification and analysis of business requirements within complex transformation environments.
  • Communicate complex processes and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Apply GDS principles and ways of working where appropriate.
  • Work effectively within Agile delivery teams and across wider programme stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
