The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the Lifting Solutions business line on a temporary 6 month basis. The role is based at our Aberdeen office. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in support the Director of Shares Services Center by analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Other main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Deliver accurate, timely, and visually impactful reports and dashboards that support informed business decision-making
  • Translate raw data into actionable insights aligned with strategic business goals
  • Ensure data models, reporting logic, and specifications accurately reflect real business requirements
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and integrity across all reporting outputs
  • Effectively communicate insights and align with stakeholders to support business and project objectives
  • Drive timely and successful execution of process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements
  • Own reporting outcomes and deliver independently with minimal supervision
  • Support successful implementation and adoption of new technology solutions within the SSC

The Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification would be advantageous but not essential. Experienced in business analysis, preferably within a shared services environment. You will have excellent knowledge and hands on experience with Power BI and a strong understanding of business processes, KPI's, and how to translate data into business insights.
