Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst Contractor to support our team across business reporting, sales analytics, and operational processes.
The role has a strong focus on taking ownership of recurring analytical and reporting work, simplifying how it is done, and progressively automating repetitive processes. The goal is not simply to execute existing processes, but to understand them, identify opportunities to improve them, and build more scalable ways of working.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who combines strong business analytical skills with a process optimization mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Recurring Reporting & Performance Analytics
- Take ownership of recurring business reporting and analytical processes.
- Prepare and refresh regular performance materials.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure outputs are accurate and reliable.
- Investigate anomalies and provide initial analysis of underlying business drivers.

Process Optimization
- Identify repetitive, manual, or inefficient workflows and understand existing processes end-to-end before redesigning them.
- Simplify and standardize workflows where appropriate.
Ad-hoc Business Analysis
- Support ad-hoc analytical deep dives into business performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches.
- Develop initial hypotheses and insights from the data.
- Produce clear charts, tables, and analytical outputs that support decision-making.

This role will support preparation of materials for reporting and business reviews, and communicate progress, findings, and potential issues clearly and proactively.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Business analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL.
- Ability to understand business questions and translate them into structured analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Able to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
