Technology Business Analyst, Applications

Help shape technology solutions across an international EMEA operation

Are you an experienced Technology Business Analyst who can turn complex operational requirements into clear, scalable solutions?

We are working with a well-established international organisation seeking a Technology Business Analyst to support the development, improvement and governance of its enterprise application landscape.

You will partner with stakeholders across business operations, technology and third-party suppliers, helping to identify requirements, improve processes, coordinate application changes and ensure solutions meet genuine operational needs.

What you will be doing

  • Leading requirements gathering and process analysis activities.
  • Developing functional specifications, user stories, process maps and supporting documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve, automate and modernise business processes.
  • Coordinating service requests, change requests and application enhancements.
  • Facilitating workshops and communicating proposed solutions to stakeholders.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing and defect management.
  • Working with internal teams and vendors to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Contributing to release management, change governance and approval processes.
  • Managing multiple priorities across an international stakeholder community.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst or technology applications role.
  • Strong analytical, requirements gathering and process improvement skills.
  • Practical experience of UAT and application change delivery.
  • The ability to influence, communicate and build relationships at multiple levels.
  • Experience with enterprise applications in a logistics, cargo or operational environment would be particularly relevant.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Wrike or similar platforms.
  • The confidence to work across different countries, cultures and business functions.
  • Relevant academic or professional qualifications would be advantageous.
