Location: Kings Hill / Hybrid

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
As a Business Analyst, you will be a valued member of the LASER Energy team, playing a central role in driving business improvement and change across the organisation. Working across a variety of projects, you'll help shape smarter processes, better ways of working and technology enabled solutions that create lasting business value.
We're looking for a Business Analyst with experience of gathering requirements, mapping processes and delivering business improvement initiatives. You'll be confident engaging with stakeholders, challenging existing ways of working and translating business needs into practical solutions that deliver measurable value. Experience using Microsoft Power Platform and other Microsoft 365 tools to support and deliver process improvement, automation and digital transformation will be highly beneficial.

What you’ll be doing
- Delivering business analysis activities to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand challenges, priorities and business objectives.
- Facilitating workshops and gathering requirements to support projects and change initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining clear process documentation, including an end-to-end process library with agreed ownership and review points.
- Designing and delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Collaborating with Systems, Data and Development teams to implement effective technical solutions.
- Preparing reports, dashboards and management information to support decision making and measure business benefits.
- Supporting business cases by assessing benefits, risks, costs and expected outcomes.
- Supporting projects through planning, testing, governance and implementation activities.
- Promoting continuous improvement and best practice business analysis methodologies.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in Business Analysis, process improvement, data analysis or a related discipline.
- Strong experience gathering requirements, analysing processes and delivering effective business solutions.
- Excellent Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 skills, including experience using tools such as Power Automate.
- The ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations, process maps and practical solutions.
- Confidence building relationships and constructively challenging stakeholders when required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience within the utilities or energy sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
