Business Analyst (Fibre & Systems Integration) — Reading | Hybrid (1 day per week) | Outside IR35 | Initial 6-month contract

A fast-growing technology business is delivering a number of high-profile fibre and connectivity programmes and needs an experienced Business Analyst to help drive complex systems integration and transformation initiatives. You'll work across technical and business teams, shaping requirements, mapping processes, and ensuring seamless delivery across multiple platforms and stakeholders.

This is a hands-on BA role for someone who understands fibre networks, connectivity services, and the challenges of integrating systems in complex technology environments.

What the role involves

  • Gathering, documenting and validating business and technical requirements across fibre and technology programmes
  • Leading workshops with technical, operational and commercial stakeholders to define future-state processes
  • Supporting end-to-end systems integration projects, ensuring data flows and dependencies are fully understood
  • Producing process maps, gap analyses, user stories and functional specifications
  • Working closely with delivery, architecture and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and acting as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams
  • Supporting testing, UAT activities and successful business adoption of new solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
