Job Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and analytically minded Strategic Business Analyst to support business operations through data analysis, strategic projects, reporting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, highly organized, commercially curious, and able to turn complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities
Data & Reporting – 40%
- Consolidate business data and reporting into reliable, standardized performance views.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and BI solutions for leadership.
- Work closely with Finance and other teams to ensure commercial data is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
- Identify reporting gaps and implement improvements to reduce manual effort and improve data reliability.
- Support BI and reporting requirements to enable strategic and operational decision-making.
Project-Based Analysis & Insights – 30%
- Develop and deliver analytical briefs for strategic and business-critical projects.
- Conduct analysis across areas such as product performance, pricing, revenue, and commercial trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
- Present conclusions and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Project Support & Programme Coordination – 30%
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of strategic business projects.
- Assist with initiatives such as pricing strategy development, commercial planning, and campaign launches.
- Create high-quality presentations that transform complex data and ideas into compelling business narratives.
- Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain action logs, track follow-ups, and ensure key deliverables remain on schedule.
- Maintain visibility of important meetings, milestones, and decisions.
- Prepare briefing notes, meeting summaries, and follow-up communications.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with structured data.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills; 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong business and commercial acumen with an interest in understanding how businesses make decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical and analytical concepts for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in commercial, strategy, consulting, business analysis, or analytical environments.
- Data-driven and intellectually curious.
- Commercially aware with strong business judgment.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Strong at turning complex data into clear stories, recommendations, and business decisions.
