Business Analyst | £60,000–£70,000 DOE

Ready to make a real difference?

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join HEP at an exciting time of growth, change and transformation.

This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. You’ll be at the heart of our projects, connecting business stakeholders, technology and delivery teams to turn challenges and ideas into practical solutions that deliver real business value.

You’ll bring together Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Agile delivery, UAT and Continuous Improvement, giving you variety, influence and the opportunity to shape how we deliver change.

What you’ll do

  • Understand business challenges, opportunities and objectives.
  • Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops.
  • Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps.
  • Support business cases, impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Support Product Ownership and prioritise backlogs based on value, risk and strategic priorities.
  • Work with delivery teams across planning, sprints, releases and implementation.
  • Champion Agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams, influencing priorities and driving agreement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
