Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile business and technology transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, and project managers to define requirements and support the delivery of effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and challenges.
- Produce requirements documents, user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions.
- Analyse current and future-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with delivery, development, testing, architecture, and product teams.
- Support backlog management and requirements prioritisation.
- Assist with solution design, user acceptance testing, implementation, and defect resolution.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project updates and documentation for key stakeholders.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business, risk, control, and regulatory requirements.

About You
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, banking, investment management, or another regulated industry.
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and documentation.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- A good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing and defect management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
Desirable Experience
- Background in capital markets, banking operations, risk, compliance, or investment-related projects.
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools.
- Familiarity with process-modelling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, APIs, or system integrations.
- Business Analysis certification, such as BCS or IIBA.
