Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Knutsford, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite
Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst with extensive experience in Salesforce and a strong background in the banking and financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within a large-scale Salesforce transformation programme, taking ownership of complex business areas from discovery and requirements through to technology delivery and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead major workstreams within large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes.
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex business areas, from discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and business outcomes.
- Translate complex business needs and colleague journeys into clear technology requirements, features, and actionable user stories.
- Work closely with Product, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Integration, and Testing teams within an Agile delivery environment.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, drive decisions, and resolve ambiguity.
- Identify cross-programme dependencies, risks, and delivery gaps early and proactively drive them through to resolution.
- Support engineering teams by removing blockers and ensuring requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned to business objectives.
- Provide direction and guidance to other Business Analysts where required.
- Contribute to improving the overall pace, quality, and effectiveness of programme delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Strong experience as a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise across Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Lightning.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Agentforce capabilities.
- Proven experience leading significant workstreams within Salesforce transformation programmes.
- Strong banking and financial services domain experience.
- Good understanding of regulatory, governance, and control environments within financial services.
- Demonstrable experience owning business areas from discovery through to technology delivery.
- Excellent requirements gathering, business process analysis, and user-story writing skills.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Integration, and Testing functions.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to identify and manage dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers across complex programmes.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and support other BAs.
