About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst (I) in Strategic Finance & Growth to join our client’s dynamic team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the growth trajectory of a major digital streaming and media platform. The successful candidate will be embedded within an internal consulting unit, working closely with executive product and business leaders to analyze large datasets, develop financial models, and craft strategic recommendations. The position is a 6-month contract with an immediate start, offering a hybrid work environment requiring three days per week in the Kings Cross office.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a background in strategy consulting, tech/media business operations, or corporate finance analytics with 2-4 years of relevant experience. A strong educational foundation in a quantitative, business, or STEM field is essential. Technical proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying techniques such as CTEs, window functions, and conditional aggregations, is required. Candidates should also demonstrate expertise in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets and experience creating executive dashboards with tools like Looker or Tableau. A mindset focused on structured problem-solving, fluency in A/B testing methodologies, and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Decode and analyze large, complex datasets using advanced SQL to monitor key metrics such as user engagement, creator payouts, and subscription revenue, ensuring data accuracy and relevance for strategic decision-making.
- Build comprehensive financial models, including bottom-up market sizing, revenue forecasts, and trade-off analyses, to support high-stakes product investments and strategic initiatives.
- Design and execute A/B testing experiments to evaluate new product features and monetization strategies, leveraging statistical models to interpret results and inform product development.
- Transform complex data into concise, impactful executive summaries that clearly articulate what happened, why it matters, and recommended next steps, facilitating informed decision-making at the senior level.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company growth objectives.
