Role Overview

Role: Business Analyst

Salary: Up to £53,000 p/a + discretionary 10% annual bonus

Location: Remote first - Note: Candidates must be UK-based

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading SaaS business, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join its growing Delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a range of enterprise customers, playing a key role in the successful delivery of software implementations. Acting as the bridge between customers and internal teams, you'll be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions while ensuring projects are delivered in line with best practice.

You'll work across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with Project Managers, Product, Delivery and Technical teams to ensure customers receive a seamless implementation experience. Alongside requirements gathering and solution design, you'll also support user acceptance testing, onboarding and ongoing customer engagement.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with customers, solving business problems and delivering technology solutions that make a real impact.

  • Work closely with customers to understand, capture and document business requirements
  • Translate customer needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Design scalable platform solutions and obtain stakeholder sign-off throughout the delivery process

  • Support the successful delivery of multiple software implementation projects
  • Assist with customer onboarding, testing and ongoing platform adoption
  • Work alongside Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Support customers throughout User Acceptance Testing, managing issues and coordinating with QA teams where required

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal teams
  • Facilitate workshops and technical discussions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Product, Delivery and Technical Support teams to continuously improve customer outcomes
  • Support pre-sales activities where required, providing functional expertise to prospective customers

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop a strong understanding of both customer processes and platform capabilities
  • Contribute to product improvements by providing customer feedback and insights
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and customer experience

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Commercial experience working as a Business Analyst within a software or SaaS environment
  • Strong experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements
  • Experience writing user stories and functional specifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional technical and delivery teams
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience working with API-driven or SaaS platforms
  • Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • Business Analysis or related professional qualifications
  • Experience working within software implementation or delivery environments
