The Role
Deloitte is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support key elements of the CLIENT AI Programme. Working within a programme structure, you will be responsible for business analysis activities that enable delivery of critical outcomes across one of the AI workstreams.
We are looking for someone with substantial business analysis experience, ideally gained in a complex, regulated environment, and with strong experience working alongside senior business stakeholders and product-based technology delivery teams. Experience in defining and implementing AI solutions, particularly Agentic AI, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements, document use cases and acceptance criteria, and process model the as-is and to-be states.
- Identify and raise risks and issues, and contribute to mitigation planning.
- Manage relationships with business and technical stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Design goal-driven, autonomous AI systems through reactive, prompt-based and human-dependent user stories.
- Break complex human workflows into logical, measurable sequences that AI agents can reliably execute.
- Design human-in-the-loop, decision threshold, trigger point and safe override paths.
- Design ethical, transparent guardrails and validation frameworks for autonomous decision making.
- Evaluate potential harms, social impacts and vulnerable groups.
- Define fairness requirements, measurable criteria for bias mitigation and demographic parity.
- Monitor evolving output biases over time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
