Business Analyst – Asset Management / Business Process Mapping

6 Month Contract | London | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major change and transformation programme within the Asset Management division of a leading global financial services organisation.

The role will have a strong focus on business process mapping, process analysis and process improvement, working across key functions including Finance, Risk, Product and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed As-Is and To-Be business process mapping
  • Work across Finance, Risk, Product and Operations to understand end-to-end processes and dependencies
  • Facilitate workshops with SMEs, business users and senior stakeholders
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, duplication, control issues and improvement opportunities
  • Document business processes, workflows, procedures and business requirements
  • Support the definition of future-state processes and Target Operating Models
  • Analyse hand-offs and dependencies between different business functions
  • Translate complex processes into clear, structured process maps and documentation
  • Support wider business change through requirements gathering and impact analysis

  • Strong Business Analyst / Business Process Analyst experience
  • Good Asset Management / Investment Management industry knowledge
  • Excellent business process mapping and process modelling experience
  • Strong experience producing As-Is and To-Be process maps
  • Experience working across functions such as Finance, Risk, Product and Operations
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent documentation and process analysis skills
  • Experience within business transformation, process improvement or operating model change
  • Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Signavio, ARIS or similar
  • Target Operating Model / operating model design experience would be beneficial
