Role Description

Location: London - Hybrid working with 3 days onsite required

Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract/ Contract Inside IR35

Experience: 5-10 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Asset Management and a passion for leveraging Data Analytics, Dashboarding, and AI-powered tools to drive business insights and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in Asset Management, strong analytical and data visualization skills, hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The candidate should be comfortable working in AI-enabled environments using tools such as Cortex Code, Microsoft Copilot, and other GenAI solutions as part of their daily workflow.

This role requires a blend of Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Reporting, Stakeholder Management, and Technical BA capabilities to support strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics for business reporting.
  • Work closely with data, engineering, and technology teams to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and support UAT activities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
  • Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Cortex Code, and similar platforms to improve analysis, documentation, reporting, and productivity.
  • Support Agile delivery teams and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution discussions.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Asset Management or Investment Management domain.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management business processes and data.
  • Experience working with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Exposure to data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and reporting technologies.
  • Experience creating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
  • Strong requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Exposure to data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and analytical reporting concepts.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technology teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools and workflows.
  • Knowledge of Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience working on data modernization, reporting, or analytics transformation initiatives.
