Job Title: Business Analyst Associate

Location

Warton, Hybrid - 3 days per week on site

Salary

£51,772+ depending on experience

Job Description:

As a Business Analyst Associate, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and supporting a diverse portfolio of projects within our Architecture Practice, with a focus on the Air sector. You will work across the full product lifecycle, shaping solutions that meet customer needs, enable strategic objectives, and deliver real operational value.

You’ll be at the heart of identifying business challenges, analysing operational requirements, and delivering effective, practical solutions through both automated and non-automated process improvements. You will also have the opportunity to undertake advanced modelling to support major change programmes, helping to shape the future direction of the organisation.

Core duties:

  • Assisting in investigating business situations where there are some complexity and ambiguity, adopting a holistic view to identify and analyse problems and opportunities
  • Contributing to the selection of the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis, engaging and collaborating with operational stakeholders
  • Helping define and manage scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity
  • Facilitating input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements
  • Contributing to the delivery of the Product Management requirements within the business, relating to IT enabled opportunities, as well as representing the businesses best interests with the customer base and BAE Systems globally

Essential Skills:

  • A proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience of business process modelling and utilising appropriate requirements management tools
  • Requirements definition and management experience
  • Experience of mentoring, coaching and managing a small team

Digital Data & Infrastructure (DD&I) Service Delivery Team:

In this role, you will influence and improve practices, processes, and standards, while championing localised quality improvements across systems and services. Working across the entire Air sector business unit, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of functions—including engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and our military customers, giving you exceptional exposure and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

You will be joining a well-established, forward-thinking Architecture Practice with a reputation for excellence and innovation.
