Business Analyst – BA-CVA / Credit Risk | Basel 3.1 | Moody's RiskAuthority
Desirable - 4 days per week onsite - London
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong CVA / Credit Risk knowledge to support a major PRA Basel 3.1 regulatory implementation within a global financial services environment.
The role will focus on the independent verification and end-to-end testing of Basic Approach Credit Valuation Adjustment (BA-CVA) calculations delivered through a third-party regulatory platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and validate BA-CVA calculations
- Independently verify calculation outputs against regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Finance, Credit Risk and Technology teams
- Support end-to-end, system/integration and UAT testing
- Produce requirements, functional specifications, test plans and test cases
- Document calculation logic, processes, findings and workflows
- Liaise with third-party technology vendors
- Manage issues, risks and stakeholder sign-off throughout delivery

What We're Looking For
- Strong Business Analysis experience within banking or financial services
- Previous experience with CVA / Credit Risk projects
- Good knowledge of Credit Valuation Adjustment calculations and the ability to analyse and interpret calculation outputs
- Experience supporting regulatory or capital-related change programmes
- Strong testing experience, including E2E and UAT
- Experience delivering solutions involving third-party vendors

- PRA Basel 3.1 / Basel regulatory change
- 5+ years' Business Analysis experience within financial institutions
This is a specialist BA position requiring genuine knowledge of CVA and credit risk, rather than a generalist regulatory Business Analyst background.
