Business Analyst
Location: Ealing / Hybrid (some office attendance required)
Salary: £48,556-£55,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
DBS Level – Basic

Are you a curious and analytical Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, improving services, and delivering meaningful change?

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing Transformation & Innovation team, where you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, gathering business requirements, and supporting the delivery of transformational change across the organisation.
Working closely with operational teams, stakeholders, customers, and project teams, you'll help shape solutions that improve customer outcomes, increase efficiency, and support our strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of transformation and service improvement initiatives through structured business analysis activities.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation.
- Analyse business processes, customer journeys, systems, data flows, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, interviews, and process mapping sessions.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, user stories, options appraisals, and recommendations.
- Support business case development, benefits realisation activities, and service improvement proposals.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, operational teams, IT, Data & BI, and Transformation colleagues to support successful delivery.
- Support change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness activities.
- Contribute to service redesign, customer journey mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse customer feedback, complaints, Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs), and operational performance data to identify trends and root causes.
- Support testing, implementation, and post-implementation review activities.
- Promote agile, customer-focused, and evidence-led approaches to business improvement and transformation.

More About You
- Experience working within Social Housing/Local Authority, or a similarly sector is highly desirable.
- Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA, or equivalent).
- Experience working with NEC Housing systems, other NEC platforms, and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Dynamics CE) is highly desirable.
- Experience conducting business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Strong process mapping, service redesign, and continuous improvement skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capability.
- Experience supporting business change, transformation, or service improvement initiatives.
- The ability to translate complex requirements into practical business solutions.
- Experience working with data, performance measures, and business insights to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of agile and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of customer journey mapping and user-centred design approaches.
