Westland Horticulture IT Department Opportunity

Westland Horticulture is looking for a skilled Business Analyst/IT Project Manager to join our IT Department. You will lead projects across the Westland Group, from planning through to delivery. You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while working closely with stakeholders across multiple business units. This role gives you the chance to drive centralisation, efficiency, and standardisation across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects across the Westland Group, from initiation through closure
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and track progress against these
  • Engage stakeholders across business units to gather requirements and manage expectations
  • Identify risks and issues early, and put mitigation plans in place
  • Coordinate technical teams and third-party vendors to keep delivery on track
  • Manage change control processes and support user adoption of new systems
  • Oversee testing and quality checks before go-live
  • Report project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management on a regular basis

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record managing IT or business transformation projects
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across different business units
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, Jira
  • Experience with ERP or enterprise systems, such as Oracle or MS D365, is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project management certification, such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile, is an advantage
