Type: Permanent

Drive impactful change within Scotland’s leading investment banks

The Role

Capco is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support long-term strategic programmes with major investment banking clients across Scotland. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you’ll help identify improvement areas, deliver effective change, and drive Agile practices across fast-paced, regulated environments. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful transformation projects while developing deep Capital Markets expertise. You will also be encouraged to leverage approved AI tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance analysis, delivery quality, and productivity, while applying appropriate human judgement and governance in regulated environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead workshops and gather requirements to inform functional specifications and user stories, using appropriate AI-enabled tools and techniques where they improve efficiency, traceability, or insight.
  • Map and analyse business processes and customer journeys to identify opportunities for optimisation, including through automation and AI-enabled process improvements where appropriate.
  • Deliver change initiatives from business case to UAT planning and execution, ensuring outputs are reviewed, validated, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and third parties to drive successful outcomes.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and support continuous improvement across project lifecycles, including the responsible adoption of AI-enabled ways of working.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Business Analyst experience in the Financial Services sector, particularly within Capital Markets.
  • Hands-on delivery across the full project lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement and testing phases.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of data interpretation and recommendation building.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with change methodologies and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Curiosity and willingness to adopt approved AI tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity, analysis quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement when using AI-generated outputs, including appropriate review, escalation, auditability, and adherence to responsible AI and organisational governance standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
