URGENT Requirement for a Contract Business Analyst (Outside IR35)

We have an URGENT requirement for a Contract Business Analyst (Outside IR35) to play a pivotal role in a major core systems modernisation programme for one of our key logistics clients.

About the Organisation

The organisation currently operates two separate operational platforms (different functionality, technology stacks, and business processes) and have set out on the journey to rationalise the existing landscape, harmonise requirements and processes where practical, and support the move from legacy platforms to a SaaS solution that enables a consolidated, future-ready operating model.

The Role & Person - Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and analysis across operational domains to understand current-state processes, systems, data flows, and pain points
  • Elicit, define, and manage business requirements that support process harmonisation and platform consolidation
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align cross-functional teams on target outcomes, priorities, and scope
  • Produce clear documentation including process maps, user journeys, use cases, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with product, engineering, architecture, and vendor teams to translate business needs into SaaS-based solution requirements
  • Support evaluation of solution options, including gap analysis between current capabilities and the SaaS platform
  • Contribute to governance and delivery practices, helping ensure requirements are testable, traceable, and aligned to programme goals
  • Support change readiness by helping stakeholders understand impacts to processes, roles, and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
