The Role
The Corporate Change team in Europe is hiring a Business Analyst to support strategic and regulatory change initiatives with a focus on a key Know Your Customer (KYC) project. This role involves collaborating across multiple departments to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of Vanguard's European transformation agenda, helping shape and deliver initiatives that have a meaningful impact across the business. As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, project managers and business leaders, you will play a key role in turning complex challenges into practical, value-driven solutions.
Your initial focus will be a strategically important Know Your Customer (KYC) programme, working across Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Technology and the broader business to help define requirements, solve problems and drive delivery. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational change initiatives across Vanguard Europe.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting to the root of complex problems, bringing structure to ambiguity and influencing outcomes through analysis, collaboration and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers, gaining exposure to senior leaders across the organisation while building expertise in business analysis, change delivery and transformation.
We are looking for an individual who is intellectually curious, motivated to challenge the status quo and excited by the opportunity to make a tangible impact. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver, a strong relationship builder and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
This role offers an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to broaden their network, deepen their understanding of Vanguard's European business and play an important role in shaping how we deliver change across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
