🚨 Senior Business Analyst (Cyber) — 6 Month Contract — Outside IR35 — Remote
Marble Grange Group is partnering with a major engineering & infrastructure organisation to find an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Cyber Security programme.
đź’° Day rate: ÂŁ450 - ÂŁ500 per day (Outside IR35)
đź“… Duration: 6 months (strong scope for extension)

About the role
This is a role for an experienced Business Analyst who wants to operate beyond requirements gathering. You'll help shape complex change, challenge thinking, bring structure to ambiguity, and ensure business and technology decisions are grounded in clear evidence, measurable value and practical delivery outcomes — within a Cyber Security context.
You'll act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and delivery teams, establishing clear scope, defining business needs, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value across a complex change programme.
Key responsibilities
- Frame complex business problems, challenge assumptions and assess options based on evidence, value, feasibility and business impact
- Shape the analysis approach for complex change initiatives, ensuring scope, objectives and success measures are clearly aligned
- Elicit, analyse and translate business needs into high-quality requirements and recommendations
- Drive clarity across complex processes and operating environments, identifying opportunities to improve or transform ways of working
- Influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, building trust and alignment across business, technology and delivery teams
- Support testing, business readiness and change impact assessment through to successful implementation
- Lead BA activity across assigned initiatives, providing direction and professional judgement
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement across the BA community

What we're looking for
- Broad understanding of the Cyber Security landscape and supporting principles/certifications
- Proven track record working in a compliance-orientated role
- Demonstrable experience applying a broad range of BA methodologies, tools and techniques on complex business and technology change initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to facilitate and lead workshops and collaborative working sessions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process analysis, modelling and improvement
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with challenging deadlines

Desirable
- Experience with Cyber Security, Cyber Compliance, Cyber Controls, Cyber Resilience or Privileged Access Management projects
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or asset-intensive environments
- Exposure to enterprise/business architecture or operating model design
- Experience with BPMN or similar process modelling standards
- BCS, IIBA or CBAP certification
