We’re hiring a Business Analyst to join our growing Technology & Data team at Buchanan.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than simply picking up tickets and documenting requirements.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who wants to get close to the business, work directly with stakeholders and senior leadership, understand how people actually work and help shape the technology and tools we build.

You’ll play a key role in connecting our business with our Technology & Data team, taking real-world processes and challenges and turning them into clear, practical solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with stakeholders across the business to understand existing processes, workflows and pain points
  • Running workshops, interviews and discovery sessions to understand how teams work day to day
  • Mapping current and future-state processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
  • Translating business needs into clear requirements for our technology team
  • Working closely with developers as new internal tools and solutions are designed and built
  • Supporting testing, implementation and adoption of new technology across the business
  • Helping create better, more scalable ways of working as Buchanan continues to grow

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
