Luxoft is hiring an experienced Business Analyst / Data Modeller

Luxoft is hiring an experienced Business Analyst / Data Modeller to join a strategic data transformation programme within the Capital Markets domain. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a next-generation Snowflake-based data warehouse and integration platform, supporting a portfolio management ecosystem used by global asset managers. You'll work at the intersection of business, data and technology, helping to define enterprise-wide data models across a broad range of financial instruments while collaborating with senior stakeholders across technology, product and client delivery teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Define and maintain data models covering a wide range of financial instruments across FX, Money Markets, Interest Rate Derivatives and Equity Derivatives
  • Drive alignment between technical delivery and business objectives
  • Standardise data representations across multiple trade types and source systems
  • Build a clear understanding of upstream and downstream system dependencies and data consumption requirements
  • Promote and drive the adoption of AI capabilities across the programme
  • Facilitate workshops to gather, challenge and refine business and data requirements
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across technology, product and client-facing functions
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies and communications throughout the programme lifecycle

What We're Looking For

  • ✅ Proven experience delivering complex Capital Markets data initiatives
  • ✅ Strong Business Analysis and Data Modelling background
  • ✅ Experience with enterprise data warehouse or data platform programmes
  • ✅ Solid understanding of modern data architectures, including Snowflake
  • ✅ Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, APIs, data pipelines and data modelling concepts
  • ✅ Understanding of financial instruments across FX, MM, IRD and EQD products
  • ✅ Experience analysing data formats such as XML and FpML
  • ✅ Knowledge of SAP environments
  • ✅ Strong Agile delivery experience, including Jira and Confluence
  • ✅ Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Asset Management or Portfolio Management platform experience
  • Previous delivery experience on Snowflake implementations
  • Murex or similar trading platform exposure
