Location: Telford 2 to 3 days onsite

Job Description:
Making Tax Digital (MTD) is fundamentally transforming the UK tax system to use digitally integrated tools. MTD is a key part of the government’s ambition for HMRC to become one of the most digitally advanced tax authorities in the world. MTD will make it easier for businesses, self-employed individuals, and landlords to get their tax right first time by integrating tax into their day-to-day business activities through the use of software and digital tools. It will create a single, up-to-date view of a customer’s tax affairs in one, modern and robust IT System.

We are looking for:

- A multi-disciplined individual able to identify and efficiently convey the customer's requirements through IT systems skills, communication, and understanding.
The postholder needs to be:
- Proficient in Systems Analysis Techniques, able to impact proposals, and perform System and High-Level Design Analysis.
- Able to communicate effectively with people who have differing levels of IT knowledge/skill.
- Able to use Data modelling techniques.
- Experienced with the Windows Suite and MS Office applications.
You also need:
- Strong experience in Requirements & Analysis on large scale and/or multi-project environments, Data Capture, Data Analysis.
- RUP
- A detailed understanding of Systems Life Cycles, in particular the requirements and analysis phases.
- The ability to build and maintain good Client relationships
- A flexible approach with the ability to work under own initiative.
- To be resilient in nature with the ability to deal with conflict management.
- Strong decision-making and judgment, influencing skills, and presentation skills
- Strong evidence of skill competency around flexibility, attention to details, communicating, conflict management, decision making, and judgment influencing.
