As part of our continued commercial transformation, we are creating a new Regional Business Analyst role to help drive data-led decision making across our European business. This is a highly visible position that will work across Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations, transforming data into insights that improve performance, support strategic planning and identify opportunities for growth.

About the Role

Reporting into the commercial organisation, you will play a key role in helping leaders understand business performance, improve forecasting accuracy and make informed decisions. You'll work with data from multiple sources, using analytical insight to identify trends, assess business opportunities and support commercial excellence initiatives across the region.

This is a newly created position with significant scope to influence how reporting, forecasting and business intelligence capabilities develop across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse data from CRM, ERP and operational systems to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable insights that support commercial decision-making and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Support forecasting activities across product sales, service revenue and commercial pipeline performance.
  • Monitor pipeline health and provide forward-looking recommendations to improve outcomes.
  • Drive automation of reporting processes and reduce manual effort across commercial teams.
  • Improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of business data.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations leaders to understand business challenges and deliver meaningful analysis.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer segmentation and channel performance evaluation.
  • Assess performance differences across regions and recommend approaches that can be scaled and replicated.
  • Support business planning processes through data-driven insights and predictive analysis.

About You

You are a commercially minded Business Analyst who can connect data and analytics directly to business outcomes. You understand the importance of forecasting, planning and performance management and can translate complex information into clear recommendations that influence decision-making.

You are equally comfortable working strategically and delivering hands-on solutions. You enjoy building new processes, challenging assumptions and improving the way organisations use data to drive performance.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong commercial understanding, ideally supporting Sales, Marketing, Service or Operations functions.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP and operational datasets.
  • Strong forecasting and business planning capability, including pipeline management.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards and business performance reporting.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience automating reporting processes and improving business visibility.
  • International business experience, ideally gained across multiple countries or regions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in environments where data quality and processes continue to evolve.

Desirable Experience

  • Data science, predictive analytics or advanced statistical analysis experience.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, business intelligence platforms and automation tools.
  • Experience improving data quality, governance and reporting structures.
  • Experience working across multiple countries in the EMEAI region
  • Background in management consulting or commercial transformation programmes.
  • Ideally a combination of consulting and industry experience.
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification.
  • Experience establishing KPI frameworks, reporting structures, dashboards or analytical capabilities from the ground up.
