BUSINESS ANALYST
Based near East Kilbride / Hybrid Working
Salary up to £45K basic plus benefits package
We're hiring a Business Analyst for our clients Transformation team, reporting to the Director of Transformation.
Do you enjoy digging into how a business really works, and turning messy data into something people actually use? We're looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join the Transformation team with our client in the manufacturing industry.
You'll work across Sales, Operations, Finance and beyond, getting to grips with processes, systems and data to find better ways of working. This is a role where your insight will directly shape how the business sees its performance and makes decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Partnering with teams across the business to understand their challenges and uncover opportunities
- Analysing processes, systems and data to drive practical improvements
- Building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI and Grow, drawing on Epicor and other business systems
- Spotting gaps in current reporting and creating new solutions for better financial and operational visibility
- Pulling together and validating data from multiple sources to surface trends and key findings
- Helping colleagues understand and get the most from their reports
- Supporting the Director of Transformation on improvement initiatives, from requirements gathering through to delivery

What you'll bring
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience working with business systems or ERP platforms
- An analytical, practical and commercially minded approach, with a sharp eye for detail
- Confidence working independently and engaging with people across different functions
- The ability to turn complex information into clear, useful outputs
- Experience with Power BI, Grow, Epicor or SQL advantageous.
