Your future, your role
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be:
- Support the General Ledger workstream of mydentist’s IFS implementation.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements for General Ledger and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to understand accounting processes (journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing etc.)
- Work with IT and partners to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Assess proposed changes to the IFS solution for feasibility, impact, strategic alignment and priority.
- Act as custodian for business process supported by IFS, driving consistency across the company.
- Support the change/release plan to ensure changes are delivered on time and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulatory and audit requirements
- Support the integration between GL and other modules (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Project Management etc.)
- Prepare functional specifications, workflows and user guides.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide training for end users.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance automation and reporting efficiency.
- Documenting all requirements, User Story, and acceptance criteria for review and approval by the Transformation Lead.
- Championing the importance of business process reengineering in maximising system and process efficiency to achieve long-term value.

You will have:
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as IFS, Oracle, SAP etc.
- Knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a Business Analyst role as part of a complex system implementation
- Great communication skills with the ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including with third party vendors.
- Solid understand of business processes, gained through ERP implementations.
- Extensive experience working in a finance department, whether fully qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience.
