Support the Programme Manager in delivering a finance transformation programme designed to standardise finance processes and systems across HSL entities and help build a modern, technology-enabled finance function. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong finance process, ERP implementation and test management experience who is comfortable taking ownership and delivering independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Programme Manager in planning and delivering change across the programme.
- Design standardised finance processes and help establish and embed them consistently across HSL entities.
- Develop the test approach and plan, including test scripts and cases aligned to the new processes.
- Coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), manage defects and secure stakeholder sign-off.
- Lead data cleansing and enhancement activity to prepare information for migration.
- Plan and support cutover activity as entities move onto the new processes and systems.
- Build effective relationships across Finance, IT and the wider business, taking on additional priorities as the programme evolves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
