Business Analyst (Financial Reporting & EPMO)
Contract: 3 months initially, with a view to extending
Rate: £650 - £700 per day, depending on experience
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to London (minimal)
Start: Immediate
We are supporting a leading international organisation with an urgent requirement for an experienced Business Analyst. This is a brand-new role supporting an enterprise-level programme, with a particular focus on financial data, programme reporting, and portfolio oversight.
The successful candidate will combine strong Business Analysis experience with an understanding of PMO/EPMO environments. You will work with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, improve reporting and governance, and turn complex financial and programme data into clear, actionable insights.

- Gather, analyse, and document business and reporting requirements.
- Support portfolio oversight, programme reporting, and governance.
- Work with stakeholders across finance, technology, and enterprise programme teams.
- Develop clear documentation, process maps, and storyboards.
- Use Power BI to produce and improve programme and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to use AI-enabled tools and capabilities within existing processes.
- Maintain requirements and supporting documentation using Jira and Confluence.
- Help establish effective processes for a new and evolving programme.
Essential Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within a complex enterprise environment.
- Previous experience working within a PMO or EPMO function.
- Financial data, financial planning, or programme-reporting experience.
- Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-management skills.
- Practical Power BI experience, particularly in reporting and data visualisation.
- Experience of programme governance, documentation, and storyboarding.
- Ability to work independently and deliver at pace.
- Immediate or short-notice availability.

Desirable Experience
- A background in FP&A or a similar financial-planning environment.
- Experience transitioning from FP&A or programme reporting into a Business Analyst role.
- Jira and Confluence.
- NetSuite.
- Snowflake.
- Experience using Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools.
- An interest in identifying practical applications for AI within finance and reporting.
