Business Analyst
Pay up to £44,447, plus 28.97% employer pension contributions, hybrid working, flexible hours, and great work life balance.
We have a number of exciting Business Analyst opportunities available across DWP Digital, spanning key areas including Debt, Health & Disability Services, Working Age Services and Hybrid Cloud.
As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering digital transformation that impacts millions of people across the UK.
Working within our multidisciplinary Agile teams, you'll help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring products and services deliver real value for users and the organisation.
You'll be involved right through the product delivery lifecycle, using a range of business analysis techniques to understand problems, identify opportunities and define effective solutions.
You'll work with stakeholders to support informed decision-making, improve business processes and help deliver services that meet both user and business needs.

Please note: As part of the role, you may be required to travel regularly to the other digital hubs (this counts as working time, and you'll incur no travel costs). The frequency of this will be discussed further should you be successful.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
- Significant experience delivering business analysis across the full project and change lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Proven ability to apply a broad range of business analysis techniques to identify problems, understand user needs and shape effective solutions.
- Experience eliciting, defining and managing business, user and system requirements to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decision-making at all levels.
- Experience using business modelling techniques to analyse processes, capabilities and organisational needs, supporting the design of effective business solutions.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: Pay for this role is from £44,447 to £46,547.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth up to £12,876 per year.
