About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with active SC Clearance to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves working on a significant UK public sector programme, supporting the delivery of complex projects that require meticulous analysis and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating structured analysis, managing stakeholder relationships, and guiding potential solutions through evaluation, trial, and proof of concept stages. This hands-on position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on translating uncertain or evolving requirements into actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
- Proven experience in business analysis within complex UK public sector programmes.
- Strong background in designing and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
- Experience in evidence gathering, structured analysis, and delivering pilots, trials, and proofs of concept.
- Ability to engage with suppliers for evaluation and assessment purposes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge or experience within the Home Office, National Security, policing, or intelligence sectors is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and bring clarity to complex requirements.

Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders across various disciplines to gather and understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops to ensure alignment and clarity of project goals.
- Conduct structured analysis to evaluate potential solutions, including evidence gathering and assessment of feasibility.
- Manage the delivery of pilots, trials, and proofs of concept, ensuring they meet project specifications and objectives.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to evaluate offerings and support procurement decisions.
- Translate complex, uncertain requirements into clear, actionable recommendations for project teams and decision-makers.
- Challenge assumptions and verify evidence to ensure the robustness of proposed solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis, findings, and stakeholder interactions.
- Support project delivery teams by providing expert advice on business analysis best practices and techniques.
