Business Analyst

Location: London – Hybrid
Salary: up to £55,000 plus Benefits Package

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a leading change and transformation consultancy helping organisations turn strategy into reality through practical, lasting solutions. Working with a diverse range of clients, you will support business transformation initiatives by bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of effective solutions. You will play a key role across the project lifecycle, using analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement to help clients achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities as a Business Analyst

  • Conduct business process analysis and document AS-IS and TO-BE process models.
  • Gather, validate and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
  • Create functional specifications, user stories and process flow diagrams.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases and analysis for proposed solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing and change management activities.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices.

Experience you'll need as a Business Analyst

  • 3+ years of experience working in a Business Analyst role using business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience supporting projects across the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including facilitating workshops and working with business and technical teams.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of business process modelling techniques and tools.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
  • CBAP or BCS Diploma in Business Analysis is desirable.
