Business Analyst

Location: Midlands - 1 day a week, Thursday
Day Rate: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Initial 6 Months

A Business Analyst is required to join a leading organisation delivering business change within the energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity to support a range of internal change initiatives, minor releases and business improvements, working closely with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.

Working within a collaborative change team, you'll be responsible for running workshops, assessing business impacts, capturing and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of change from inception through to implementation. This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running and quickly get up to speed with existing gas industry processes.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Carry out impact assessments across business change initiatives.
  • Capture, document and manage business requirements.
  • Produce process models and maintain requirements traceability.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop effective business solutions.
  • Support the delivery of a backlog of internal change requests and minor releases.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure changes are successfully implemented.

Additional Experience & Attributes

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within change or transformation projects.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, process modelling and traceability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident in facilitating workshops and engaging with business stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within the energy sector is highly desirable.
  • Able to hit the ground running and quickly understand existing business processes.
