Business Analyst, IAM & Identity Governance
Swindon, occasional onsite travel
Contract until 31 March 2027

I’m looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background delivering Identity & Access Management and Identity Governance projects. This is a specialist IAM/IGA Business Analysis role. You’ll support a major transformation programme, assessing the current identity environment and helping define the future-state processes, requirements and governance needed for a new IAM solution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct detailed AS-IS analysis of existing IAM processes, systems and pain points
- Design TO-BE processes covering identity governance, lifecycle management and access control
- Gather, analyse and prioritise complex business, security and technical requirements
- Produce functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate workshops across business users, security teams and technical stakeholders
- Analyse identity data, roles and access patterns
- Support the definition of roles, access profiles and identity data structures
- Support RBAC and access governance design
- Ensure future processes align with Zero Trust principles
- Contribute to business case development, benefits identification, process improvements and impact assessments
- Produce clear process maps, requirements and supporting BA artefacts

What we’re looking for:
- Substantial Business Analysis experience across multiple IAM projects
- Experience working on large-scale IGA programmes involving multiple customer or stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of identity governance and administration
- Experience with identity lifecycle management and access controls
- Strong requirements elicitation and analysis skills
- Excellent AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping and optimisation experience
- Experience analysing identity data, roles and access requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to bridge business, security and technical requirements
- Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria and structured requirements documentation
- Good understanding of Zero Trust principles
