Business Analyst – Insurance Systems - Remote Working - FTC

Our client, a global Insurance broker, are currently looking to hire a Business Analyst with Insurance Systems experience to join the team on a remote working contract basis.

As the Business Analyst, you will support the design, specification, testing of insurance systems within the insurance platform. You will work closely with Applications, Operations, Project Managers, Compliance, and third-party suppliers to deliver change safely, accurately, and ensure high-quality outcomes for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold discovery sessions to capture, challenge, and shape requirements.
  • Analyse requirements to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and optimisation.
  • Define solution approaches.
  • Own end-to-end scheme configuration including risk capture, rating, and underwriting.
  • Where required, carry out impact assessments for changes, ensuring downstream effects are understood.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within Insurance or Broking.
  • Insurance systems experience, e.g., Policy Admin (PAS).
  • Analytical and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong prioritisation and delivery focus.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and underwriting.
  • Confident decision-maker, comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly when required.
