Business Analyst – Insurance Transformation

Location: London (Hybrid)

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join one of our Financial Services clients, supporting a business-critical transformation programme focused on process optimisation, data quality, governance and operational efficiency.

This role sits within a wider transformation function and will play a key part in reviewing and improving complex end-to-end business processes that span multiple operational and corporate functions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand current ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape future-state operating models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and understand current business processes.
  • Document and analyse end-to-end workflows, identifying inefficiencies, control weaknesses and process gaps.
  • Produce high-quality process maps, business requirements and supporting documentation.
  • Define future-state processes and operating models that improve consistency, governance and operational effectiveness.
  • Assess data flows, ownership structures and control frameworks across multiple business functions.
  • Develop recommendations for both short-term process improvements and longer-term transformation initiatives.
  • Support the creation of implementation roadmaps and business cases.
  • Produce clear documentation, operating procedures and user guidance where required.
  • Track progress against agreed deliverables and ensure outcomes are achieved within programme timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
